BD BBL™ prepared agar plates in sterile packs are plated media in gamma-irradiated packs that are validated to performance and sterility according to AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) guidelines.

Sterile inner wrapping
Outer Tyvek/polyethylene wrapping minimizes the risk of false contamination, provides fiber-free bacterial barrier and allows for gas exchange. To use, remove the outer wrapping in the non-critical environment, then remove the sterile inner wrapping in the clean area; the included bag may be used to transport plates from your critical environment. Storage temperature: 2 to 8 °C.
